CompAir offers an extensive range of compressed air systems, ancillary equipment and gas compression solutions.
CompAir’s Values
Green energy is at the forefront of CompAir’s values. The company focusses on clean energy operations, ensuring sustainable business practices. CompAir’s manufacturing processes complies with numerous environmental regulations to guarantee lower emissions and more efficient solutions. They’re also committed to conserving natural resources and minimising waste throughout their operations. Additionally, resource efficiency is key throughout the manufacturing operations at CompAir through recycling materials and reducing water usage. SIA offer CompAir’s environmentally friendly options including oil-free and water-injected compressors.
Types of CompAir Compressors
Rotary Screw Compressors:
These compressors use two intermeshing helical rotors to compress the gas. Rotary Screw compressors are commonly used in industrial applications where a constant supply of compressed air is needed.
Rotary Screw Compressors are utilised in a variety industries and applications such as manufacturing, construction, energy, and health care. These compressors are commonly used in the automative, textile and food and beverage industries as well as powering medical instruments and oil drilling operations.
SIA offer seven different CompAir Rotary Screw Air compressors ranging from maximum power rating of 7.5kW from the L06 Fixed Speed model to 250kW from the L250 RS High Speed Lubricated model.
Benefits of Rotary Screw Compressor
- Continuous Operation: Designed for continuous operation, rotary screw compressors provide a constant and reliable supply of compressed air. This makes them ideal for applications requiring a steady and uninterrupted flow of air.
- High Efficiency: Rotary screw compressors can deliver a large volume of air while consuming relatively less power in comparison with other brands and types of air compressors.
- Durability: CompAir rotary screw compressors are known for their reliability and durability. Due to their design, deterioration is minimised, enhancing their lifespan and lowering maintenance costs.
Centrifugal Compressors
CompAir centrifugal compressors use a rotating impeller to accelerate the gas and converts its kinetic energy into pressure. These compressors are commonly used for high-volume applications and are commonly used in large scale industrial operations. Commonly utilised in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical and refrigeration, centrifugal compressors are vital throughout numerous industry processes.
SIA Compressors & Generators offer the Oil Free Quantima Series Two-Stage Variable Speed range, considered the best compressed air insurance you can get. The full range, available at SIA, varies from a maximum power rating of 150kW in the Q-26 Water-Cooled Oil Free Screw Compressor to 300kW in the Q-70L Water-Cooled Low Pressure Oil Free Screw Compressor model. The CompAir centrifugal compressor range is vital for many applications where the presence of oil can spoil products or damage production and equipment.
Benefits of Centrifugal Air Compressors:
- Oil-Free Air: CompAir’s centrifugal air compressors are designed to be oil-free, ensuring the compressed air produced is free from oil contamination.
- High Efficiency: Centrifugal compressors are highly efficient, suiting large scale operations and applications. Accelerated by an impeller, the centrifugal compressor utilises dynamic compression to accelerate and diffuse air pressure.
- Low Maintenance: Due to centrifugal air compressors containing fewer moving parts, they require a lower level of maintenance in comparison to other types of air compressors.
Scroll Compressors
CompAir’s scroll compressors use spiral-shaped scrolls to compress the gas. Scroll compressors are commonly used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and are known for being quiet.
The Oil Free S-Series Scroll compressors, available at SIA, range from a maximum power rating of 4kW to 15kW.
Benefits of Scroll Compressors
- Recued cost of ownership: Scroll compressors do not require oil filter replacements, oil condensate treatment and energy to combat pressure loss caused by filtration.
- Contaminate Free: CompAir’s scroll range is free from contaminants such as oil and silicone.
